Kent Jones
FOUNDER, JONES LAW FIRM
Kent Jones founded Jones Law to get back to what he does best — giving clients his personal attention, on every deal, every time.
With more than 30 years of experience at leading regional firms, Kent has built a practice as sophisticated as any in the market. He has represented institutional investors, private equity funds, real estate developers, and financial institutions in transactions across the Southeast and throughout the country, with a depth of experience that spans the entire commercial real estate transaction lifecycle.
Kent's practice covers three core areas: acquisitions and dispositions, including complex portfolio transactions and entity-level deals; leasing and development, from anchor retail leases to ground-up mixed-use projects; and real estate finance, including construction loans, permanent financing, CMBS, mezzanine debt, and equity joint ventures.
What distinguishes Kent's approach is the combination of transactional sophistication and genuine accessibility. Clients describe him as a lawyer who understands not just the legal dimensions of a deal, but the business logic behind it — someone who helps them move efficiently toward their goals rather than creating obstacles.
